Damian North was born in Belfast, Ireland, and attended Saint Malachy’s College before attending Queen’s University to study a degree in theology and education. 

His debut novel, Pontifex Maximus - Now The End Begins, was published in October 2016. It is a Papal Thriller and the first in a trilogy. The second book in the trilogy, Pontifex Maximus II - The Father of Fathers, was published in April 2019. The third and final instalment of the trilogy is due out this coming summer.

In June 2017, North published his second novel, Mr Finch - A Hanging Protocol. It is a crime thriller and focuses on the horror of a judicial hanging in Belfast.

Damian North lives in County Antrim on the shores of Lough Neagh.
